We couldn't leave with out going to the beach for a few minutes. It was cloudy and cold, but very beautiful at Folly Beach.

Final Night Dinner
New #1 - 167 Raw
We have a winner! This was hands down, THE best meal we have had here. 167 Raw - I think Chris was a little skeptical of the menu, but it was amazing.
The oysters were perfect, the halibut ceviche was divine, the mahi tacos superb, and the pastrami'd swordfish? Some kind of genius move if there ever was one. The spicy Mexican chocolate budino was pretty amaze-balls too.
Chris said later that all of the male waitstaff and bartenders had their shirts unbuttoned way down their chests showing their chest hair off. I'm really glad I didn't see that.
Magnolia Plantation
I think my hopes are too high that people are going to get it right. We headed to Magnolia after breakfast, thinking on a Monday it wouldn't be busy. Nope - packed. And they only way to get tickets for their house and "Slavery to Freedom" tour is to buy them same day, which meant that the tours were three hours from when we arrived. So we paid $58 to walk around the gardens.
And I get it - most of what is out there is historical about the owners because that is all they have glorified for 150 years. But it is 2022 - you can do more with my $58. You can erect some additional markers that talk about the people whose blood and broken bodies made that place - the enslaved. Maybe that doesn't make money, but it would be right.
We did see a couple of alligators.
Biscuits
Who knew how light and flaky and buttery, and not like flour bricks, they could be?

Another Fabulous Dinner - The Ordinary
This meal was anything but ordinary. My god. It was exquisite! There aren't enough superlatives to describe this one The Ordinary. Our server Teddy seemed to be having a stressful night. I think a few things went wrong at the table next to us, so he was very frazzled. But our service was about as outstanding as you can get. ❤️
Here's what was on the menu:
- Dozen Steamboat Creeks
- Smoked Fish Pâté
- Yellowfin Tuna & Carolina Gold Rice
- Oeufs Tonnato
- New England Style Fish Chowder
- Cornmeal Fried Tarvin White Shrimp
- Crispy Oyster Sliders
- Chocolate-Hazelnut Budino
- Carolina Gold Rice Pudding
After almost 18,000 steps today, don't judge us.

Charleston BBQ
Since tonight is another seafood extravaganza, we opted for BBQ for lunch. This place was terrific! My salad was amazing, and it was nice to have some vegetables. The pulled pork sammie was nothing to sneeze at either. Oink.
