A Day in Maine - Part 2 - Lunch & Beer!

After we got off the boat, we walked one building over to the Portland Lobster Company.  You can buy any lobsters that are part of the catch and then they will just cook it for you right there!

After ordering, I immediately went to the bathroom to wash my hands, for an hour.

Chris and I didn't get a lobster do that, instead I ordered the lobster roll and he had the haddock fried fish sandwich.

Holy mackerel (well haddock)!  Lunch was amazing.  Chris actually said, "I think that was the best fish sandwich I've ever had."  And you know he isn't prone to hyperbole.   I would agree.

After lunch we walked a few blocks to Infiniti Brewery & Distillery.  Had a few samples, and Chris had a beer.  It was pretty good!  Pictures below...

After that, we came back to the hotel to change out of our lobstery clothes and then headed out to Portland Head Light and up to Freeport to Maine Brewing Company.  More on that in the next post!
