After Oktoberfest fun and dinner last night, Chris and I were done. And we were in bed and asleep by 8:00 pm.
Woke up to a beautiful crisp mountain morning. And started drinking lots of water - a little dehydrated from the beer yesterday.
This morning we are headed out on a charity wine and dine hike at Beaver Creek. After first hearing from Nan that it was 2 miles, then 6 miles, then 2 again, I just kind of assumed it was probably like 10 and prepared for making it about a mile and a half and then dying in the brush on the mountain from lack of oxygen.
But fear not, we confirmed...it is a 4 mile hike. So I think it might take us 4 hours, or it will take us 2 hours and then we will just sit down and try and breathe.
We are nothing if not adventurous. And maybe a little stupid.
