Long Walk Down 5th Avenue

We decided because it was such a beautiful day that we would walk the 32 blocks down 5th Avenue to Eataly - restaurant/deli as recommended by my friend KB.   Lots of sights and good people watching!  Patrick jumped in a cab with the girls, and met Chris, Katie, and me at the restaurant.

We stopped in front of Rockefeller Center and took some pictures, then in front of the New York Public Library (beautiful building), and then kept on going for many more blocks.

At one point, we were under some scaffolding and since it had rained the night before, some disgusting water dripped on my head.  I had to reach up and feel it to see if it was water or bird poop.  Where is the Purell when you need it?   Thank God I found a bathroom before lunch.  I wanted to cut my hand off.
