Arendsnest = Awesomeness. At least that is what it should mean.
This post is really for our beer geek friends:
Arendsnest - fantastic bar, so much to choose from. Owned by the same owner at the Beer Temple. People there totally nice and welcoming. Beers enjoyed:
1 Chris) - Texels Tripple: herbal spicy flavor and aroma, distinct Belgian character and dry finish. Score = 41.
1 Patty) - Three Horne Trippelaer: sweet up front, with light spicy notes, finished a bit sweet, but balanced. Score = 38
2 Chris) - De Molen Ruig & Rood: Called an Irish Ale, but like a sour Belgian Quad. If scored as an Irish Red, Score = 13 because WTF, not an Irish Ale. If scored as a Belgian specialty, Score = 40
2 Patty) - De Molen Sladek Hopburst: perfumy, floral, hoppy. Awesome. Score = 36
Would totally go back here if we had more time. Loved it.
